As of January 2026, contributions are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0 International) licence. Previous publications, on the other hand, are available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) licence.
Authors retain the right to distribute their Version of Record (VoR) via an institutional and/or subject repository under the same licence for release starting from 1 week after publication in JCOM. In this case, the file name must be the same as the one in JCOM and the following template must be used: Version of Record. Copyright is retained by the authors by default.
