JCOM Masterclasses are short, intensive training courses to empower scientists, senior-middle managers of cultural institutions and other professionals to communicate science through different media to different audiences.

Speakers and tutors are leading researchers and professionals in the field, who work on an international level. Both teachers and participants come from all over the world.

Each course lasts 5 days and includes theoretical presentations, practical workshops and the presentation of international best practices. Keynote speakers are leading professionals in their sectors, academics and other experts on an international level.

Participants have the opportunity to present and discuss their own projects, as well as collect suggestions from the speakers and colleagues.

The courses are held at the Adriatico Guesthouse of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics, in a lovely small bay very close to the town of Trieste and the Miramare castle/park. The venue includes a terrace facing Trieste gulf, a cafeteria and accomodations.
